現在の Oecussi (Oecusse) にあった 王国である。

nordholt-71 は次のように書く：

It will be extremely difficult to gain any insight at all into the original structure [of Ambenu] as the Topasses were in power in Ambenu for centuries. The ruler of Ambenu succeeded in maitaining his own position in spite of their presence there, but much of the old structure probably disappeared nevertheless. (p. 318)

じっさい、Topass の da Costa 家の はマテウスは Ambenu の王女と結婚して （Amanuban の王女という説もある） 「王朝」を始めたのだ。¹

ノールドホルトはトパスと現地の王との関係について次のように言う：

Kosta-Ornai (da Costa and de Hornay) came 'later', from Malacca and Larantuka respectively. When they arrived in Oikusi they received a lump of earth from Liurai-Sonba'i [ liurai Sonbai ], Amfoan-Amanatun, Pit'ai, Beboki-Insana to keep in the church ² of Noimuti as a token of the fact that they had permission to live in Timor.
